UAE Weather Update: Yellow Alert for Dust and Chance of Rain
As the UAE experiences a dynamic weather shift, residents are advised to stay vigilant amidst a yellow alert issued by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). The alert, triggered by active northwesterly winds with speeds up to 40 km/hour, is accompanied by dust-laden gusts impacting sea and western regions. These conditions, in effect from Tuesday morning until 7 pm, have notably reduced horizontal visibility to less than 2000 meters.
Today's weather outlook presents a blend of partly cloudy skies with intermittent cloud cover over northern and eastern sectors, possibly ushering in rainfall across select areas. Nightfall and early Wednesday may bring humidity alongside potential fog or mist in internal and coastal locales.
Temperature variations across the UAE are expected, with inland areas peaking at 42ºC and mountainous regions cooling to a minimum of 13ºC. In major cities like Abu Dhabi and Dubai, maximum temperatures could hit 41ºC and 39ºC, respectively, while minimums are forecasted at 24ºC and 29ºC, respectively.
Stay informed and prepared as weather dynamics unfold in the Emirates, ensuring safety and comfort amidst these atmospheric shifts.
